Fourth-placed Holmesdale part company with manager Ben Kotey after 25 games in charge
HOLMESDALE have today parted company with their manager Ben Kotey, as well as the rest of his management team, including Martin West and Reggie Boatswain, who came with him from Phoenix Sports Reserves in May.
The Oakley Road club are in fourth-place in the Southern Counties East Football League First Division table with 37 points from 19 games and are 11 points adrift of leaders Welling Town.
The Dale suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Erith & Belvedere on Saturday and Kotey was in charge of the club for 25 games in all competitions, winning 14 of them and losing eight.
Chairman Ray Tolfrey said: “Holmesdale have today parted company with their management team with immediate effect. A statement will be released in the next few days.”
Holmesdale are at home to Sutton Athletic on Saturday 5 January 2019 (15:00).
The Hextable based side are one place immediately below them in the table with two less points but they do have three games in hand on the Bromley based side.
