Holmesdale manager Andy Constable appoints four coaches while Lordswood appoint Ross Wiles and Lee Garlinge as joint-managers
HOLMESDALE manager Andy Constable has today appointed four new coaches.
Reece Parara stepped down from the role of manager on Sunday 3 November, along with his assistant manager Simon Beard.
The Bromley based club have appointed Callum O’Shea and Gary Davies as joint-assistant mangers, Ryan Pay (coach) and Elliot McManus (assistant coach).
O’Shea was previously Holmesdale captain and has been assistant manager at Southern Counties East Football League First Division side Halls Athletic.
Davies held the role of assistant manager last season. He brings a wealth of first team managerial experience to the club. His father Eddy managed Cray Wanderers.
Pay and McManus have both left Halls Athletic to join the Oakley Road outfit.
Chairman Tony Beckingham said in a statement: “The club is confident that this new coaching setup will help to develop the squad’s talent, improve performance on the pitch and build a strong foundation for future success.”
Constable, who is also the director of football, added: “We are fortunate that the positive working environment at Holmesdale makes it easy for us to attract talented management and coaching staff, including those who have enhanced their skills elsewhere before returning to the club.”
Holmesdale – 11 games without a win in all competitions – are in seventh-place in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division table, having picked up 23 points from their 19 games.
Constable’s first game back in charge of the club sees them travel to Spelthorne Sports in The FA Vase Second Round tomorrow.
Lordswood chairman, Ray Broad, meanwhile, has announced the appointment of Ross Wiles and Lee Garlinge as joint first-team managers, while Sam Wilson retains his role as coach.
The club parted company with manager Nicky Southall on Monday – having extended their winless run to six games.
Lordswood, who travel to Bearsted in the Challenge Cup next Tuesday, have slipped down the table into the bottom four, with 13 points from as many games.
