Wings receive clearance for pair in time for opening day

Welling United have today received international clearance for striker Andrew Sam and Ronayne Benjamin.

Benjamin is a left-sided player who had previously been with Gillingham and Reading and has been playing in Holland and like Sam required international clearance.

Both are expected to be in the squad for tomorrow’s Nationwide Conference South opener against Weston-Super-Mare at Park View Road.
