Winger Watts returns to Hayes Lane

Tuesday 16th May 2006

Kirk Watts, one of the best players to grace the Hayes Lane pitch, has rejoined Ryman Premier League club Bromley, writes Stephen McCartney.

The slender winger has rejoined the club from Nationwide Conference South outfit Lewes, having originally joined Bromley from Egham Town in 1999 before moving to Ashford Town for a short spell in November 2000.

However, he returned to Hayes Lane for the start of the following season before former manager Stuart McIntyre announced in September 2003 that he released the highly-rated and popular player and Lewes welcomed him with open arms.

Watts, whose older brother Grant also played for the club, has signed a one-year deal.

Meanwhile, highly-rated Tutu Henriques has signed an improved deal, which keeps him at Hayes Lane until May 2007 with a year’s option afterwards.
