We will be looking to stay with the chasing pack, says Ramsgate boss Tim Dixon

Monday 03rd February 2014
RAMSGATE manager Tim Dixon says he is looking forward to their east Kent showdown against Folkestone Invicta on Tuesday night.

The Rams travel to Cheriton Road sitting in eighth-place in the Ryman League Division One South table with 44 points from 29 games.

Neil Cugley’s Folkestone Invicta have climbed up to fifth-place in recent weeks, with 47 points from 27 games.

“This will be one of our toughest fixtures of the season,” said Dixon.

“I’m very good friends with Neil and we speak a lot.  They have really turned their season round and signed some good experienced players but it’s a fixture that the team are looking forward to.

“Obviously we are looking for a positive result and the boys know they need to be at our best.

“We trained on Saturday after the game with Corinthian-Casuals was postponed and had a good chat about the previous week. We will be looking to bounce back to stay with the chasing pack.”
