Welling United appoint Craig Holloway as their new goalkeeper coach
WELLING UNITED manager Warren Feeney has appointed Craig Holloway as his new goalkeeper coach.
The 37-year-old has arrived at the Vanarama National League South club yesterday, having previously had the same role at Isthmian League Premier Division side Margate.
Current Margate manager Andy Drury has announced the departure of former Sevenoaks Town goalkeeper Ben Bridle-Card.
“We are delighted to welcome Craig Holloway to the club,” said Welling United's director of football Garry Fiore.
“He has great experience and will be working across the club with the first team and youth set-up.”
Holloway added: “I’m looking forward to the challenge of developing the goalkeepers and working with the Academy.”
Holloway began his career playing at Arsenal under Arsene Wenger, has played for several non-league clubs and worked under Jay Saunders at Margate in his last role.
Welling United travel to Taunton Town on the opening day of the new season on Saturday, 6 August (15:00).
