Welling Town unveil Ramell Lake signing from Erith & Belvedere

WELLING TOWN manager Louis Dean has made his first summer signing.

 

The Boots sealed promotion after winning the Southern Counties East Football League First Division title at the first attempt and have snapped up central midfielder Ramell Lake from the side that came up with them, Erith & Belvedere.

“I’m delighted that we’ve secured the services of Ramell,” Dean told www.wellingtown.co.uk. 

“We’ve been very impressed with his performances last season, especially against us and we feel he will bring a different dynamic to our already talented squad.”

Welling Town have confirmed that Enoch Adjei, Sam Bailey, Harvey Brand, Grant Brown, Harry Gamble, Ryan Golding, Jason Mensah, Jack Moore, Marlon Patterson, Mehmet Piro, Jordan Samuel, Jamie Taylor and  Dan Wells have all been retained.

“We are still in discussions with a couple of last season’s squad and may be able to confirm others in due course,” added Dean.

“To those moving on, both at the seasons end and during the season, thank you again for your services during last season, as another trophy was collected.”

Lake and his new team-mates will all sign Southern Counties East Football League registration forms when they become available on 1 July 2019.
