VCD Athletic part company with manager Nick Davis and his assistant Del Oldfield
VCD ATHLETIC have parted company with manager Nick Davis and his assistant manager Del Oldfield.
Davis guided the Crayford-based outfit to a ninth-place finish in the Isthmian League South East Division last season.
“Following recent discussions, VCD Athletic confirm that it has been mutually agreed that manager Nick Davis and his management team will leave VCD Athletic with immediate effect,” said a club statement.
“VCD would like to thank Nick and his team for their efforts over the last three seasons albeit dogged with the Covid epidemic.
“We wish Nick and his assistants all the best for the future and wish him luck in whatever avenue he goes down.”

Jason Powell, who formed part of Davis’ management team last season, has already found a new club following his departure and has already joined Gravesend-based Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division club Punjab United, where he has become Chipie Sian’s assistant manager.
Goalkeeper coach, Damien Hopkins, meanwhile, has also left the Vickers after two years at Oakwood.
