Trott faces interesting test against highflying Fleet

Thursday 14th September 2006

Margate have now lost two games in succession for the first time since last 1st April with away defeats at Boreham Wood and Ramsgate, writes Steve Wells.

Arguably though, there were extenuating circumstances for both results. This game then represents an interesting test in Robin Trott’s early management career.

Dean Standen starts his three match ban following his red card against Chelmsford, but Greg Oates and Paul Abbott should return to the stating line-up.

Fleet - managed by former England international Andy Sinton – currently sit in second place in the Ryman League Division One South, behind current leaders Dover Athletic. In fact, the Hampshire club came away from Crabble with a creditable win in their recent league game.
