Trio missing for Sittingbourne

The Bourne Park outfit got past another county league side in Kent Leaguers Thamesmead Town in the preliminary round, and the Welshman hopes for the same result tomorrow.

“Anything can happen in the FA Cup but we’ll approach it the same way as the Thamesmead game.

“On paper we should get through, but we’re not going to take it lightly.  It’s important for us to get through to the next round.”

Maidstone United travel to Ryman Premier League side Ashford Town (Middlesex) tomorrow without Ray Powell.

The former Tonbridge Angels’ star is serving his second match of a three match ban.

But good news on the injury front is that Errison Ahwan, a summer signing from Beckenham Town, will be playing his first game following injury for the reserves as he bids to regain his match fitness and challenge for a place in the first team.

On Saturday we’re at the Homelands for the showdown between Ashford Town and Tonbridge Angels.

Then on Sunday we travel to Kingsmeadow for the game against Kingstonian and Ramsgate.
