Tonbridge Angels boss Steve McKimm makes a great start building his squad for new season

Monday 22nd June 2020

TONBRIDGE ANGELS manager Steve McKimm has signed up four vital members of his squad.

With The FA requesting clubs to assume a September start for competition, McKimm has retained the services of four members of his squad for the 2020-21 Vanarama National League South campaign.

Goalkeeper Jonathan Henly, right-back James Folkes, centre-half Sonny Miles and attacking midfielder Ben Greenhalgh have all agreed in principle to stay at Longmead Stadium.

McKimm told the club website: “I’m delighted these players have agreed to stay.

“All of them have sound National League South experience and are well versed in the system we want to play.

“Sonny, Jonny and James between them have made over 750 appearances for the club while Ben, who signed for us halfway through a truncated season has a footballing CV as good as any at this level.

“This is a great start to building our squad for the upcoming season and there will be more announcements to come as the planning continues.”
