Under 12s to watch Tonbridge Angels in National League South free-of-charge next season
TONBRIDGE ANGELS has announced that children under 12 years of age will gain free admission into all of their home National League South games next season.
“We are very aware as a club that we need to encourage the next generation of support and we believe this initiative will urge more children in Tonbridge to come to Longmead and watch live football,” said club chairman Dave Netherstreet in a statement.
“It’s a great family-friendly environment and we believe we are offering a low-cost day out and activity for local families who may have been hit hard financially by the pandemic.
“We have recently launched Angels in the Community, a scheme that will provide coaching and healthy lifestyle advice to people of all ages in the area and our free entry for children under 12 fits well beside this and aims to be right at the heart of the community.”
The Longmead Stadium club have created a free season pass on its website for under 12s to print and share with their school friends and sport teams locally.
The child attending games or the group of children should be accompanied by an adult and the club are hoping that families and junior football teams will take the opportunity to bring children to the club to experience live football in the sixth-tier of English football first-hand.
