Tonbridge Angels issue retain list: Nick Wheeler and Jack Parter go in search for a higher grade of football
TONBRIDGE ANGELS manager Steve McKimm has issued his retained list.
The club finished in sixth-place in the Ryman Premier League table having collected 74 points from their 46 league games, agonisingly missing out on a play-off spot by just one point.
McKimm has confirmed that Sonny Miles, George Beavan, Tom Parkinson, Damian Scannell, Nathan Elder, Andre McCollin, Dan Thompson, Alex Akrofi, Luke Blewden and Tommy Whitnell will be retained for next season.
McKimm revealed he is still in negotiations with midfielder Luke Allen, goalkeeper Anthony Di Bernardo, and Liam Smith and Tashi-Jay Kwayie
Four players have been released, striker Bradley Fortnam-Tomlinson, right-back Ugo Udoji, defender Mitchell Nelson and central midfielder Tom Phipp.
Two players have been released as they have indicated they would like to play at a higher level of football.
Winger Nick Wheeler and former Gillingham left-back Jack Parter have departed to find a deal with a higher league club.
To all those players who are leaving Longmead Stadium, McKimm told the club’s website: “I thank you all for your efforts while you have been at Longmead and wish you the very best of luck for the future.”
