Stones set to make big announcement

MAIDSTONE UNITED are holding a press conference at a hotel in the county town on Monday morning as the club introuduce a new face, writes Stephen McCartney.

A statement issued by the Ryman Premier League club said: “Maidstone United chairman Paul Bowden-Brown will introduce a new director and shareholder of the club on Monday.

“There will be an opportunity (for the media) to ask questions of the new investor and how the club will operate in the future.

“Updates on the new stadium and the club’s community work will be outlined as well.”
