Stones begin their journey back home this year, vows chairman

Maidstone United chairman Paul Bowden-Brown has vowed the Ryman League Division One South club will start building their new ground this year.

Wishing fans a Happy New Year, he told www.maidstoneunited.co.uk  : "For all those special supporters who have accompanied me on my travels since 1992, and those that rejoined us during the latter years, be assured that the only wish I want for the year 2007 is to be able to start work on the new stadium.

"So can I ask that when you make your own wishes add one in for me to ensure that our beloved Stones start their comeback to the County Town of Kent - their rightful home.”
