Squads announced for SYKO CHALLENGE
Chris Kinnear’s Reds will include former Margate favourites Phil Collins, Martin Buglione and Jay Saunders as they take on Clive Walker’s Blues in the SYKO CHALLENGE on Sunday, 30th April at Margate’s Hartsdown Park.
Clive Walker, manager of Dover Athletic, will have former Gillingham team-mates Mark Saunders (now at Folkestone Invicta) and Andy Hessenthaler (Barnet) to call on for the match.

Former Margate boss Kinnear was confident of victory ahead of the game saying that he thought they had the better players. Walker did confirm that he thought the Reds were the slight favourites.
Speaking of their involvement in the SYKO CHALLENGE, Kinnear said: “It’s a privilege (to be involved). He was a great lad, he did great for Margate and for Kent football.”
Walker added: “I had him at Dover and I knew him as a kid when he was at Gillingham. He was a terrific lad, great in the dressing room. I had a lot of time for him.”
Kick-off for the SYKO CHALLENGE is at 3pm on Sunday 30th April. Gates open at 1pm. Admission prices are £5 for adults and £1 for children under 16 years of age. Programmes will be on sale at £2 each.
