Soccer Shorts: Team News for tomorrow's friendlies - EXCLUSIVE

We bring you the team-news ahead of tomorrow’s matches.

Tonbridge Angels manager Tony Dolby has revealed that his entire first-team squad will feature in their opening pre-season friendly tomorrow, writes Stephen McCartney.

The Ryman Premier League side, aiming towards the play-off’s this season, travel to Bayliss Avenue to play a Thamesmead Town side that are gunning for the Kent League title this season.

Dolby, who snapped up former West Ham United goalkeeper Matthew Reed, 20, this week, from underneath the noses of Blue Square Premier outfit Crawley Town, told www.kentishfootball.co.uk this morning: "Everyone will be taking part."

Meanwhile, Thamesmead Town will be attending the Thamesmead Festival at Birchmere Park tomorrow to celebrate the town’s 40th anniversary.

Mascot Tommy The Toad will at the club’s “beat the goalie” area from 10am, when the festival kick’s off. There will be plenty of activities and bands for all the family.

Mead manager, Keith McMahon, meanwhile, is relishing locking horns with Tony Dolby’s side.

He told www.thamesmeadtownfc.co.uk : “Training has continued very well and I have an eighteen-man squad for Tonbridge.

“Curtis Williams, Peter Deadman and Barry Stewart are all on holiday, but other first-teamers and new boys will get their chance.

“Rikki Cable and Sam Thomas are in the squad, and I am looking forward to playing new signing Richard Dimmock as well as giving a couple of trialists a chance.”

Neil Smith prepares for his second game in charge of Blue Square Southern club Welling United, with a trip to Ryman Premier League Folkestone Invicta tomorrow.

Smith urges his side to bounce back following their 2-0 home defeat to Championship neighbours Charlton Athletic in midweek.

"I’m looking to see how the players react in this game after the Charlton game."

And he has already named his starting eleven for the match at the Buzzlines Stadium, Cheriton Road; Turner, May, Ryan, Carpenter, Moore, Gier, Muco, Cotterill, Sam, Blackman and Johnson.

Meanwhile, officials of Kent League club, Erith & Belvedere would like to remind supporters that their pre-season friendly against their Blue Square Southern neighbours, Fisher Athletic, kick’s off at Park View Road at 1pm on Sunday.
