Ebbsfleet United's youth team have progressed to the First Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup where they will meet Northampton Town's youth side at Stonebridge Road.

The Fleet youngsters swept aside Deal Town 3-1 at Stonebridge Road this week to set up the tie with the Cobblers' emerging stars which will take place at 7.45pm on Wednesday November 7.

"The youth side are doing really well," said Fleet secretary Roly Edwards. "They play some smashing football and deserve to get a good crowd behind them for the Northampton game. These players are the future of this football club and we should all get behind them to help them achieve success."

Two positions are available to work for Welling United Football Club on match days. A position is available for Ground Preparation for Match Days and a separate position for Match Day Stewards. If anyone is interested or would like more details then please contact the club on 020 8301 1196.

The new home & away shirts worn by the Wings this season will be available in the Club Shop on Saturday. An Adult Shirt will cost just £28 whilst a Junior Shirt is priced at £24. The kit will remain as the clubs official strip for the rest of this season and the next.

Folkestone Invicta have announced a lucrative sponsorship deal with Shepherd Neame.

Commercial Manager Peter Young and Company Secretary Jim Pellatt were both instrumental in sealing the deal with the Kent brewer, who will also replace present supplier Courage at the Stripes Club.

Mr Pellatt told www.folkestoneinvicta.co.uk: “Saturday the 24th of November's home game against Carshalton Athletic will see the ‘official launch’ of a new, two year, substantial, ‘back of shirt’ sponsorship agreement between Folkestone Invicta F.C. and Kent brewer Shepherd Neame.”

A five-figure two-year deal has been struck by the Ryman Premier League club.

“The 24th will be the ‘official’ launch for photographs and publicity but the deal was signed, sealed and delivered this week which is why the Cheriton Road club is making the announcement now.

Sharp eyed supporters will notice the appearance of Shepherd Neame on the back of our shirts for the home game against Ashford Town (Middlesex) on Saturday.

The ‘launch’ was originally planned for this Saturday but due to problems of executive availability at Shepherd Neame will now be on the 24th.”

Manager Neil Cugley has taken his side’s kit back to the suppliers who are in the process of printing the Shepherd Neame logo on the back of the shirts.

Mr Pellatt paid tribute to Peter Young for his hard work in securing the deal with Shepherd Neame.

He said: ”Our Commercial Manager, Peter Young, was the prime mover in the negotiations which were agreed by our Board at last months Board Meeting.

“I would also particularly like to thank Nigel Busbridge of Buzzlines for his agreement to this second tier sponsorship arrangement. Without the wholehearted and generous support Nigel's Buzzlines give to Folkestone Invicta F.C., we would be a much lesser Club.

“The possibility was discussed with Nigel at a very early stage and his reply "what is good for Folkestone Invicta F.C. is good with me", says it all.”

Folkestone Invicta would like to remind their fans that their side are at home to Ashford Town (Middlesex) in the only Ryman Premier League game that’s being played on Saturday (kick off is the usual 3pm, at the Buzzlines Stadium, Cheriton Road.)

Leamington Football Club advise that with a bumper crowd expected for the Carlsberg FA Trophy match against Margate on Saturday.

There will be a free park-and-ride scheme operating. The double-decker bus will leave the railway station at 1.30pm 2.00pm and 2.30pm.

Margate supporters travelling by train can take a direct route from London Marylebone to Leamington Spa on the Chiltern line.

To ease congestion in Harbury Lane, supporters are asked to share cars wherever possible and arrive in plenty of time for the 3.00pm kick-off.

Margate Football Club is hiring a double-decker coach to travel to Leamington on Saturday 03 November 2007 for the FA Trophy match. The Directors would like to offer supporters the chance to travel together for £10.00 per head.

The coach will be leaving Hartsdown Park at 08:30am. If you would like to reserve a seat please visit the club website www.margate-fc.com.

Beckenham Town's success on the field so far this season is being reflected in their attendances, which are up by 36.4% on last season.

A spokesman at the Kent League club said: “It's very pleasing to see our attendances are rising - especially when you consider the current Kent League leaders attendances are down!".

Dartford midfielder Mark Green misses tomorrow’s trip to Wingate & Finchley -following a freak training ground injury.

“He was trying to overlap Steve Norman and caught his hand on Steve’s back and his knuckle ended up in his wrist,” explained Darts boss Tony Burman, on his notes on www.dartfordfc.co.uk.

“He was put in plaster last night and is at the fracture clinic today for further news.

“This is a major blow not only for the squad but for Mark, who has been excellent for us this season.”

Burman was pleased with his side’s “work-rate” as they secured a 2-1 win at Tilbury in midweek.

“I knew it was going to be a tough game and I felt the players were excellent in their approach to the game and for matching our opponents for their work-rate throughout the match so that our quality once again could come through.”

Looking ahead to their trip to Wingate & Finchley tomorrow, Burman added: “They’re another team who have not lost at home this season, so it is going to be a difficult game.

“But there is a good balance of work-rate and quality in the squad at the moment, which hopefully will help us get the result we want.”

Dover Athletic welcome Brackley Town to the Sea France Crabble Stadium tomorrow - in the second qualifying round of the FA Trophy.

Boss Andy Hessenthaler is expecting a tough game against a side that’s in fourth place in the British Gas Business Premier League.

He said: “Will be a tough game against a team a league above and they are doing well in their league.”

Defender Craig Cloke is injured, whilst former Sittingbourne attacker, Lee Browning faces a late fitness test on his calf.

Sittingbourne Football Club’s managerial vacancy:

Sittingbourne Football Club requires a Manager to take over the running of its first team, currently in a play off position in the Ryman League Division 1 South.

We are looking for someone who has themselves played the game, preferably with coaching / managerial experience at, or close to the level at, which we currently play.

We are a small, friendly but ambitious club run by a group of dedicated volunteers who, together with its supporters, would love to see SFC reach its full potential.

Financial resources at Sittingbourne are at present, and for the foreseeable future, about average for this division.

We have a team of players who, despite the fact that they could be paid more elsewhere choose to stay at Sittingbourne.

Our facilities are not the best but certainly not the worst in the league and are being continuously improved.

We like to play a good attacking game and the present players have proved themselves capable of playing excellent quality football.

We are looking for a Manager that, perhaps with the addition of two or three new players will motivate and inspire the whole team to play consistently at the standard required to remain in contention for at least the play offs.

If interested please write to the chairman Andy Spice at Sittingbourne Football Club, Bourne Park, Central Park Stadium, Eurolink, Sittingbourne, ME10 3SB enclosing a brief CV - you can contact the club via it’s website www.sittingbourne.fc.co.uk.
