Scene is set for Vickers' Oakwood homecoming

The scene is set at the Oakwood for VCD Athletic to stage their first home Kent League game for nine years when they welcome Croydon on Thursday night.

A crowd of over 400 is expected to turn out in force to witness the new facilities on view at Old Road, Crayford

Spectators are advised to get to the ground early. The game kick’s off at 7:45pm.

VCD will be without the services of Mark Greatorex (holiday), whilst Mark Horan and Lee Coburn are still suspended.

Goalkeeper Grant Wallis (holiday) and David Hunt (holiday) are both expected to be drafted into the squad.
