Rose remains "tight lipped" following his resignation

Beckenham Town’s popular manager Gavin Rose has resigned from the Eden Park Avenue club after just one season in charge.

A statement issued on www.beckenhamtownfc.co.uk said: “Rose who guided Becks to their best ever season after finishing runners-up in the Kentish Observer League Premier Division was tight lipped over his reasons for leaving stating that he was not prepared at present to comment on the situation.

“Rose is expected to issue an exclusive statement to the club’s web site within the next week.”
