Roar Faversham towards the title
Faversham Town boss Cordice welcomes the league leaders to Salters Lane knowing that victory in this rearranged clash is crucial to his side's championship chances.
The original game, which fell victim to the weather earlier this season, was dubbed the "Big One" in posters around the Town.
But Cordice knows the stakes are even HIGHER this time as he sets his sights on lifting the trophy at Sheerness East next Wednesday with absolutely no margin for error.
Two matches are all that remain of a frustrating rookie season that has seen the initiative swing back and forth between the leading two teams in the County League's top flight.
But victory on Saturday and then again against Sheerness East four days later will see Cordice make good on his promise to deliver Kent League football at the first attempt.
And now he is banking on the club's army of fans to answer the call in Town's latest poster and "Roar 'Em On!" at Salters Lane this Saturday.
He said: "This game was originally nicknamed the Big One and now that the posters are out again, all I can do is urge the fans to turn out in force once again.
"But I have to say that Saturday's game is not just big, it is absolutely massive. We really need as many fans as possible to roar us on - just like the new poster says.
"The lads are really up for it and I am confident that with the help of a big crowd we can go on and win the league.
"If you look at the attendances this year, they would not look out of place in the Southern League. That is absolutely incredible.
"All I would ask is for one last effort on the part of both the players and the supporters. Together we can turn this title dream into a reality."
Town set the stage for the title showdown against Lewisham with a hard-fought 2-1 win away to Norton Sports on Saturday.
Goals from Dave Hockley and James Holder secured all three points in a bad-tempered local derby that saw Norton have three players sent off.
Faversham Town still trail Lewisham by four points but can close the gap to one on Saturday and then hit the front when it matters most by winning their game in hand on Wednesday.
That will bring the championship to Salters Lane and Cordice said: "It was a fantastic result against Norton. It wasn't pretty but we steamrollered them at the end.
"If we produce more of the same against Lewisham and Sheerness East we will have every chance of winning the points we need for the title."
