Ramsgate defender submits transfer request

Ramsgate central defender Ollie Schulz, 21, has submitted a transfer request as he “wants to play at a higher standard of football,” writes Stephen McCartney.

As the big defender is on contract with the Ryman Premier League club, manager Jim Ward will be listening to offers for the home-grown player.

“The club will be notifying clubs in Conference South and above of his availability," said club secretary, Martin Abel.

“However, he is still under contract with Ramsgate and should not be contacted direct.

“Any interested clubs from a higher league can contact manager Jim Ward.”
