Tuesday 10th January 2006
Ramsgate boss Jim Ward has made his second new signing in less than a week, with the addition of 18-year-old goalkeeper James Plumley from the first team squad of Nationwide Conference club Crawley Town.

As well as playing for Horsham YMCA against Maidstone United in the FA Vase at the age of 16, the Watford-born 'keeper toured Europe last year with the England Colleges side and was also the Sussex county youth 'keeper. James is son of Watford 'keeper Ian Plumley, and grandson of Birmingham 'keeper Eddie Plumley.

Late last week Ward signed former Chelsea and Fulham youngster Nick Bagley.
