Editor’s Statement

On 7 October 2010, I published an article that Chatham Town manager Paul Foley would “threaten” to “break the legs” of anyone that “stole the players’ wages” from the dressing room at Redbridge Football Club. I would like to point out that at no time did Paul Foley state that he would “threaten” to “break the legs” of anyone and this has been inserted by me, The Editor, with no factual reference whatsoever to the actual wording of the statement on Chatham Town Football Club’s website.

I would like to sincerely apologise to Mr Foley for the comments and any embarrassment caused over this matter.
