Our trip to Bournemouth has served it's purpose, admits Burman - EXCLUSIVE
Dartford, preparing for life in Ryman League Division One North, welcome their third League side to Princes Park on Tuesday night, writes Stephen McCartney.
The Darts have reduced admission prices for Ipswich Town’s visit, with adults paying just £5 and concessions £1, in a bid to attract another four-figure crowd.
Boss Tony Burman will be without defender John Guest (hamstring), whilst striker, Jay May has still not recovered from his ankle injury.
But summer signing from Folkestone Invicta, defender, Adam Flanagan, has been drafted into the squad.
And after losing 7-3 to a very talented Tottenham Hotspur side, and 3-0 to Crystal Palace, Burman is expecting another tough test, against the Suffolk side.
“It will be another very hard game and another League club that will be impressed with Princes Park,” he said EXCLUSIVELY to www.kentishfootball.co.uk on the eve of the game.
Burman was pleased with their weekend away in Bournemouth, which included a 1-1 draw with Bournemouth Poppies.
He added: “We have had a very good weekend in Bournemouth, which has hopefully served it’s purpose.”
