Otford United stage charity game to raise funds for Cancer Research UK

OTFORD UNITED are staging a charity fundraising game on Thursday night between Otford United’s 2012 side and Sevenoaks Vets.

Fundraiser Ray Ellis said: “I am raising money for Cancer Research UK’s Stand Up to Cancer campaign.



“The money raised will help take breakthroughs in the lab and transform them into treatments and cures for cancer patients who need them right now.

“Please dig deep and donate to show cancer it’s payback time!

A statement from the Kent County League Premier Division club, said: “We would love to see your support, the more people, the more funds we’ll have.”

An online fundraising campaign has already raised £215 and Mr Ellis has set himself a £500 target.

The charity game will kick off at 19:30 at the Recreation Ground in Otford.
