Margate fans pitch in to purchase new tools

Thursday 29th June 2006

The Margate Independent Supporters Association (MISA) are trying to raise £3,000 - for a new lawn mower, writes Stephen McCartney.

Fans of the Ryman Premier League club are raising funds for a new mower for the Hartsdown Park pitch to replace the current one, which keeps breaking down.

MISA are holding events and raffles to raise the funds and have good offers for it’s members.

By joining MISA fans enjoy a 10% discount in the club shop and all draft beers on match days inside the clubhouse (one pint per card holder). But members must show their membership card.

Members also receive a quarterly newsletter.

MISA’s annual general meeting will be held on Thursday, 13th July, starting at 7:30pm.

Meanwhile, the club have announced their admission and season ticket prices for the new season.

Admission prices are £9 (adults), £6 (concessions) and £1 (under 16s). It will cost an additional £2 for a seat.

Season tickets, which are on sale in the club office, are priced at £160 (adults) and £105 (concessions).

The club can also announce that the first team kit will remain the same for the new season and will be available from the club shop.

Millwall are the visitors to Hartsdown Park for a pre-season match on Saturday, 8th July - the eve of the World Cup Final.
