Lovell adds Allman to his squad

Saturday 08th September 2007

Sittingbourne boss Steve Lovell has signed Anthony Allman from their Ryman League Division One South rivals, Ashford Town.

Providing all the transfer formalities are completed in time, the versatile 26-year-old will make his debut today, against Metropolitan Police at Bourne Park.

Lovell has also re-signed goalkeeper Steve Williams, as back-up to Josh Willis, as Australian Travis Glen and Bradley Ashmore are both unavailable today.

Ian Varley has recovered from the injury he sustained in last week’s FA Cup win over Chertsey Town and is included in the squad today, but Tunisian, Sabeur Trabelsi, who lives in Sittingbourne, serves a suspension.
