Kent League unveil new sponsorship deal
THE KENT League has today unveiled a new sponsorship agreement with Scottish & Newcastle UK, the country’s leading producer of beer and cider that will see the League officially renamed the Bulmer’s Cider Kent Football League, writes Stephen McCartney.
The deal incorporates sponsorship of the Premier Division, Division One and Two and the Premier Division Cup.
“We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Bulmer’s Cider,” Denise Richmond, the Kent League Chair told www.kentishfootball.co.uk.
“We’re very grateful for their support of the league and are looking forward to a fruitful relationship.
“Our clubs will really benefit from this deal and it enables us to move on at exciting times for non-league football in Kent with real purpose.”
A statement issued by Scottish and Newcastle UK added: “We’re pleased to support the Kent League and we are looking forward to the start of a promising partnership and a great new season.
“Many of the clubs in the league are already familiar with our beer and cider brands and I hope we will enjoy a mutually rewarding relationship as we develop our partnership with the Kent League.”
The Bulmer’s Cider Kent Football League kicks-off on Saturday, with a number of appetising matches, which include newly promoted Norton Sports making the short trip to Faversham Town and VCD Athletic, a side that have finished runners-up for the last two season’s travel to Tunbridge Wells and there is a derby match at Park View Road as Erith & Belvedere entertain Slade Green.
www.kentishfootball.co.uk, STILL searching for a sponsor of our own, will preview the opening day of the Bulmer’s Cider Kent Football League season later in the week.
