Kent Senior Cup Final returns to Gillingham's Priestfield Stadium for the first time since 2015

Friday 27th January 2023

The Kent Football Association have confirmed that this season’s DFDS Kent Senior Cup Final will be played at Gillingham’s Priestfield Stadium on Wednesday 3 May 2023 (19:45).

The last time the Final was staged by the Football League club was back in 2015 when Charlton Athletic beat Gillingham thanks to Karlan Ahearne-Grant’s 37th minute clincher.

Kent FA Chief Executive Darryl Haden said in a statement: “We are delighted that the Kent Senior Cup will return to Priestfield Stadium.

“Our thanks go to Paul Fisher and Bradley Galinson from Gillingham FC for agreeing to this.

“We provide 25 County Cup competitions across the youth and adult games and these finals will be played at the best facilities across Kent.

“This, along with the sponsorship with DFDS and The Merit Group, will provide a great experience for those involved in the finals.”

Dartford are the current holders, having defeated Folkestone Invicta 6-2 in Chatham on 17 May 2022.
