It' all about us and what we do, says Angels assistant Alex O'Brien

TONBRIDGE ANGELS’ assistant manager Alex O’Brien says the impetus is on his side to go and take points off all of their rivals between now and the end of the season, writes Stephen McCartney.
The Angels stretched their unbeaten league run to ten games with a 1-0 victory over struggling Aveley yesterday, courtesy of Frannie Collin’s nineteenth goal of the season.
They leapfrogged over Lowestoft Town into third place in the Ryman Premier League table - eight points behind leaders Sutton United with a couple of games in hand.
Goalkeeper, Lee Worgan, celebrated his 125th appearance for the club, by keeping his eleventh clean sheet in all competitions this season, as former Dover Athletic striker Collin netted his fifth goal in the last seven days to grab the points against an Aveley side that deserved more at a windy Longmead Stadium.
Canvey Island based side, Concord Rangers, visit Longmead Stadium on Tuesday night, before a trip to basement side Croydon Athletic on Saturday.
Looking ahead to the visit of the Beachboys on Tuesday night, O’Brien warned: “It will be hard, it will be difficult, but it’s one of those. We know about them, we’ve played them a couple of times and Dan’s got a decent set-up there and players who are going to work hard for them, but it is about us, it is about us doing well with the ball, without the ball and it’s all about us going into the games now.
Croydon Athletic remain rooted to the foot of the table, but that will be no easy game is yesterday’s struggle against Aveley is anything to go by.
“The home game here (a 1-0 win back in October), Croydon (Athletic) were a very good side on the day, they were very organised, a lot of pace and not much has changed,” said O’Brien.
“They’ll give it all they’ve got, and sometimes teams like that play with no fear and like I said and I can’t keep resisting it, it’s all about us and we’ve got back to how we can play and then we’ll kick on and hopefully get as many points as we can and come April we’ll see where we are.”
