Invicta unveil biggest sponsorship deal - and lose their stripes

FOLKESTONE INVICTA unveiled a major two-year sponsorship deal with The HR GO PLC Group - the biggest sponsorship deal ever secured in the history of the club, writes Sam Jones and Tom Marchant.

The sponsorship deal will see HR GO replace Buzzlines as the club's main sponsor, with the HR GO logo replacing the Buzzlines logo on both the home and away Invicta shirts for the 2008/09 season – amongst other changes.

Club director Andy Ingleston told www.folkestoneinvicta.co.uk that this sponsorship deal will mark the start of an unprecedented off the field revolution at the Ryman League Division One South club.

Chairman Gordon Wallis, speaking at today’s press conference, had special words of praise for Director Nigel Busbridge for his influential role in bringing HR GO to the Football Club.

The ground at Cheriton Road will remain as the Buzzlines Stadium.

In tandem with the announcement of the new sponsorship deal, next season’s kit was also unveiled.

The shirt design had not been finalised until very recently, The kit manufacture continues to be Accused Ltd, with back-of-shirt sponsorship still supplied by Shepherd Neame’s Asahi Lager.
