I'm more than willing to repay Bromley's faith in me, says Ryan Hall

Friday 06th December 2013

BROMLEY manager Mark Goldberg has today pulled off a transfer coup by enticing former Leeds United midfielder Ryan Hall back to the club for a five-week period.

The 25-year-old midfielder, who played for the Kent club between 2008 and 2010, has revealed that he will play for the Conference South leaders for NOTHING during his short stay at Hayes Lane.

Dulwich-born Hall, who came through the Crystal Palace Academy and made one appearance for the Eagles, was then sent out on loan to Lewes, Dagenham & Redbridge and Crawley Town.

After two seasons at Hayes Lane, where he earned a single England C cap, Hall signed for Southend United in July 2010.

He scored 19 goals in 84 appearances for the Essex club, before signing for Leeds United, where he made a total of eight appearances.

The midfielder, who is unable to sign for a Football League side until January following his release from Elland Road, is looking to keep himself fit and is keen to repay manager Goldberg and Bromley for the support given to him during his time at Hayes Lane.

Goldberg, who said he will know more about his side’s title credentials going into the New Year, is delighted to be able to add Hall to his squad.

Goldberg told www.bromleyfc.net :  “We don’t have the budget to expand our squad, bring in luxury players and we don’t want to start disrupting our squad but the fact that Ryan Hall is prepared to play for the club at no cost as a thank you for the support we gave him back in the day is an incredible gesture and an offer we couldn’t refuse.”

Hall added: “I’m delighted to meet up and play under Mark again. I really enjoyed my two seasons at Hayes Lane.  I will always appreciate with Mark and Bromley Football Club did for me. I’m more than willing to repay their faith in me.”

Meanwhile, striker Shamir Mullings has left the club and has signed a loan deal with Ryman Premier League strugglers Thamesmead Town until the end of this season.

The Bromley faithful can see Hall back in the white shirt when bogey-side Farnborough visit table-topping Bromley tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Kent Senior Cup Sponsored by Portablefloodlights.com Semi-Final Draw was made at lunchtime today.

Whitstable Town will welcome Ebbsfleet United to The Belmont in both The FA Carlsberg Trophy Second Round (14 December) and the Kent Senior Cup Semi-Finals (18 February).

Bromley will travel to the winner of the Dartford v Dover Athletic – which was postponed last Tuesday owing to both club’s FA Trophy First Round replays.

This season’s Final will be staged at Gillingham’s Priestfield Stadium in May, to mark The Kent FA’s 125th anniversary.
