If we can play well I think we can go to Arundel and win, says Phoenix boss Steve O'Boyle

Friday 31st October 2014
PHOENIX SPORTS manager Steve O’Boyle says he is expecting a tough FA Vase First Round trip to Arundel tomorrow.

The Barnehurst-based outfit are unbeaten in eleven league games and are in third-place in the Southern Counties East Football League table with 27 points to their name.

The club are ten points adrift of league leaders Erith & Belvedere.

They travel down to Arundel, who are in sixth-place in the top flight of the Sussex County League table after collecting eight wins and two draws from their thirteen league outings.

“Tomorrow’s game is going to be really difficult,” said O’Boyle.

“Arundel have been in good form lately but we are also doing well.

“If we can play well I think we can go there and win.

“It is a big game for our club and I’m really looking forward to it.”
