Grazioli appointed London scout for Bristol Rovers

Saturday 06th June 2009

RETIRED London born striker Giuliano Grazioli has been appointed as a scout for Coca Cola League One club Bristol Rovers, writes Stephen McCartney.

Grazioli started only eleven games (14 substitute) for Ryman Premier League champions Dover Athletic last season, scoring five goals, but hung his boots up following an impressive career, which saw him play for Wembley, Peterborough United, Weymouth, Yeovil Town, Woking, Stevenage Borough Swindon Town, Bristol Rovers and Barnet, before Andy Hessenthaler enticed him to Crabble last season.

The 34-year-old will be linking up with one of his former clubs and will be joining Paul Molesworth's scouting team.

Graz, who scored 12 goals in 38 appearances for Rovers, will be focusing on the London and South-East area.

"As an ex-player he really fits the bill for us, "Molesworth told www.bristolrovers.co.uk . "He will be a helping hand down that way, looking at future opponents in the London area and watching out for players who may interest us."
