“This is incredible news for every member of Glebe FC and the local community. I cannot believe how enthusiastic my own council are. My sincere thanks to Bromley Council and our architect.

“We’ve also been granted permission for fencing as per FA rules for four sides of the ground.

“We will now have wonderful facilities valid for Step Five.  Now if that’s not an incentive…”

The Glebe founder also said that the venue will have three reception rooms and a car park for 100 cars.

The club are currently celebrating their 20th anniversary and have vacated Holmesdale’s Oakley Road ground in Bromley and are preparing their new ground at Foxbury Avenue, off Perry Street, Chislehurst in time for the new season.
