Gills desperate to end ten month wait
Tuesday 10th January 2006
The law of averages suggests Gillingham must win an away game soon. It has been ten months since their last victory on the road but there have been some encouraging signs in recent weeks.
Having said all of that, tonight's opponents Barnsley won't be pushovers they have only lost one of their last 16 home games.
Gills boss Ronnie Jepson is convinced the long wait will soon be over but he knows the Yorkshire side will be tough opponents.
Striker Darren Byfield and defender Chris Hope were back in training this week and could be in contention and you can listen to live commentary on BBC Radio Kent on 774MW and DAB Digital Radio.
