Saturday 04th March 2017

Forest Hill Park manager Canturk Yanpar has quit the club due to health reasons.

Yanpar posted a brief statement on his Twitter account this morning, saying, “I would like to (say) thanks to Forest Hill Park for accepting my resignation and thanks for the opportunity I have had there.  I wish you all the best.”

He added: “I resigned last Tuesday. Since then I was in hospital, just came out and it is totally health related.”

Forest Hill Park play their home games at the Ladywell Arena and travel to thirteenth-placed Snodland Town today, sitting in eighth-place in the Southern Counties East Football League First Division, with a playing record of 11 wins, four draws and 11 defeats in the league.

Mr Yanpar and the club have been contacted for statements.
