Faversham Town part company with joint-managers John Embery and Jermaine Darlington after only 13 games in charge
FAVERSHAM TOWN begin the search for a new management team after parting company with joint-managers John Embery and Jermaine Darlington after only 13 games in charge at Salters Lane.
The Lilywhites went down to a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Lancing at the weekend, leaving the club inside the bottom two in the Isthmian League South East Division table with four points from eight league games.
“The board wish to thank John and Jermaine for their efforts and wish them well in the future,” said a brief club statement.
“The board will make further comment regarding a replacement in the next few days.”
The former Herne Bay joint-managers claimed three wins, two draws and eight defeats during their short tenure at the club.
Faversham Town are three points clear of bottom side Corinthian and travel to league leaders Ramsgate in the Velocity Cup Second Round on Wednesday night before returning to league action with a trip to Burgess Hill Town on Saturday.
