FA Trophy Quarter-Final Draw: Daish prepars for "tough" last eight trip at Burton Albion

Monday 04th February 2008

EBBSFLEET UNITED have today been handed an away tie in the quarter-finals of the FA Carlsberg Trophy.

Liam Daish’s men, who knocked out Weymouth courtesy of Neil Barrett’s 61st minute strike on Saturday, will travel to either Burton Albion on 23rd February.

The Fleet were the first side to defeat Nigel Clough's men on their travels in the Blue Square Premier this season when the two sides met at Stonebridge Road on 26th January, with the Kent side winning 2-1.

Speaking after Saturday’s win, Daish told www.kentishfootball.co.uk that he’s preparing for a tough tie in the last eight of the national competition.

He said: “We’re not looking that far, we’re in the last eight.  These are the big games now, they’re going to get tougher and tougher.”
