Farnie captures experienced striker

Kent League side Tunbridge Wells have today secured the services of experienced striker Paul McCarthy.

McCarthy, who played for Wells' boss Martin Farnie when he was coaching at Dartford, will link up with his new team mates when pre-season training commences on 1^st July.

Farnie told www.tunbridgewellsfc.co.uk : “Macca is an experienced campaigner in the Kent League and has enjoyed successful spells at Dartford, Cray Wanderers, VCD Athletic and Slade Green.

“He offers up something different up front as he is mobile and has a good footballing brain.

“I am sure he will fit in nicely as he is also a hard worker too.”
