FA Carlsberg Vase Third Round Draw

The third round draw (last 64) of the FA Carlsberg Vase was drawn today at Soho Square.

There are just two Kent sides left in the competition, following Deal Town’s exit at the weekend, losing 4-3 at home to Moneyfields, despite being 3-0 up after 52 minutes.

Crayford based club VCD Athletic, who knocked out last season’s finalists AFC Totton on Saturday, courtesy of a Kevin Spriggs’ first half goal, travel to Ampthill Town, of the first division (second tier) of the Molten Spartan South Midlands League.

Greenwich Borough who defeated their rivals Thamesmead Town 2-0 at Bayliss Avenue on Saturday, welcome either Wembley (Combined Counties Premier) or Woodbridge Town (Ridgeons League Premier) to Harrow Meadow.

Harbingi Grant and Peter Smith scored the goals that sealed the Eltham club’s progress.

Third round ties take place on Saturday 8th December 2007.
