Mental health is a massive worry to me at this time too, so please, don’t be alone and don’t struggle in silence, says sports therapist Emily Sawyer
Sports therapist Emily Sawyer has issued the following statement.
“After a lot of careful consideration, I have decided to cease treatments for now, I will, however, review the situation in 14 days.
You guys are the backbone of my business. Without you there would be no MJR Massage!
I have a duty of care to keep you all safe during these very worrying and uncertain times.
Thankfully, this won’t last forever and when it’s over my doors will be wide open as will my arms to welcome you all back!
Mental health is a massive worry to me at this time too, so please, don’t be alone and don’t struggle in silence. With technology today you can call me, what’s app me, face time me at any hour. Please know I am always here, ALWAYS!
Please follow Government guidelines and keep yourself and your lovely families safe and please, please, please STAY INDOORS!
I’m unfortunately high risk. I don’t mind being open what’s going on with me, there’s no point lying about it, having skin cancer. The operation is on my face and people will be able to see it.
Yes, it’s a dip in revenue, but when you look at the bigger picture, the reality is me stopping working could save lives, which in a weird way, feels good.
I don’t want to be that person still out and about not adhering to Government guidelines.
Sooner we all do as we are asked, the sooner I can get back to a sideline.”
