There are signs of progression, says Dulwich Hamlet boss Gavin Rose

Monday 17th October 2016

DULWICH HAMLET manager Gavin Rose says he knows what to expect from Harlow Town on Tuesday night.

The Hamlet came away from Essex with a 2-1 win on 23 August and the two sides meet again at Champion Hill tomorrow night.

Dulwich Hamlet were held to a 2-2 draw at Jimmy Bullard’s Leatherhead on Saturday and sit in seventh-place in the Ryman Premier League table with 18 points from their 14 league games.

Harlow Town arrive in south London in thirteenth-place in the table on 17 points.

Only six points separate sixth-placed AFC Sudbury (18 points) and Leatherhead in the bottom four on 12 points and Rose is pleased with his side’s slow progress as he bids to claim a play-off berth at the end of the 46 match league campaign.

Rose said: “We’ve had a tough game against Harlow away, in which we narrowly came away with the points, so we know what to expect this time around.

“The players’ made a great effort on Saturday and deserved more from the game.

“There are signs of progression, they are working extremely hard.”
