Dulwich Hamlet: General manager absence causes postponement of Harrow Borough Cup visit
DULWICH HAMLET have explained why tomorrow night’s London Senior Cup (Sponsored by Coventry Scaffolding) Quarter-Final home tie against Harrow Borough has been postponed.
A club statement said: “Dulwich Hamlet are no longer in control of the stadium, we are merely tenants (six hours per match day).
“Champion Hill is operated bv our landlords, they have a general manager who has sole responsibility of running the ground.
“Due to a miscommunication, the general manager is unavailable tomorrow, therefore we’ve had to re-arrange the game, with much help and kindness from Harrow Borough.
“We trust this will be the only time we’ll have to make these kinds of arrangements.”
The Champion Hill clash has been re-arranged for Tuesday 20 February.
Dulwich Hamlet are in second-place in the Bostik Premier Division table with 63 points from 31 games. Billericay Town lead the way with 63 points but have seven games in hand. Harrow Borough, meanwhile, sit in the bottom seven with 34 points on the board from their 31 league outings.
