Club director Roger Knight, speaking to www.doverathletic.com, said: "We are delighted to welcome Perrys as our new Main Sponsors. I spoke to Graham Knell (Regional Director) as soon as we knew that the main sponsorship was available. Graham has been extremely supportive and we were able to put together an excellent sponsorship package."

The package will see Perrys logo on both home and away shirts as well as having a high profile at the ground which will be renamed 'The Perrys Crabble Stadium'.

Graham Knell said: "We are delighted to support Dover Athletic Football Club as the main sponsors, we have discussed sponsorship with Whites in the past and this was a great opportunity for Perrys to become involved with the local community through football. We wish Dover Athletic Football Club every success in the coming season and we look forward to joining the Directors and Sponsors on match days."

A club statement added: “With last season's promotion, the building of a state of the art Venue and clubhouse, new Directors and Sponsors facilities, and now the exciting news that Perrys join us as our main sponsor - this coming season promises to be very exciting at Dover Athletic Football Club.”

Meanwhile, the club’s website - www.doverathletic.com  - has been named the best non-league club website in the country.

Non League Today has put the Whites' site top of the tree, giving it maximum marks for content, freshness, and user ease, while design got four marks out of five in their scoring system.

The website has been running now for more than 10 years and developed from a message board, and basic information page, to a fully-fledged rolling news website.

Chairman Jim Parmenter said: "Many congratulations to the people who run our website.

"The Internet has grown as the years have gone by and become an excellent vehicle for us to communicate with our supporters, on a daily basis sometimes.

"We're delighted that our site has received this recognition."

Editor Justin Allen said: "This is superb news and excellent endorsement for everyone who helps make www.doverathletic.com a big success.

"The operation is almost on a par sometimes with top Premier League sites - and we even have a team of volunteers larger in number than some national newspaper websites. That for me just reinforces how much passion there is for this club."
