Dover Athletic self-isolate for 14 days and postpone their next five National League fixtures
DOVER ATHLETIC’S next five National League games have been postponed, starting with tonight’s trip to Maidenhead United.
“Dover Athletic can confirm that our first-team staff and players have now entered self-isolation for a period of 14 days in accordance with National League protocols and Public Health England guidelines after a player tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of tonight’s game at Maidenhead United,” said a club statement.
“This means our next four scheduled National League fixtures, against Chesterfield at Crabble this Saturday and against Solihull Moors at the same venue on 8 December, will be postponed until a later date.
“The same also applies to our games at Wrexham (12 December) and Wealdstone (15 December).”
Andy Hessenthaler’s side are currently sitting second-from-bottom in the table with six points from their opening nine league outings.
