Dockers make Bradshaw's stay permanent

ERITH TOWN have today confirmed that teenage goalkeeper Jack Bradshaw has signed for the club permanently, writes Stephen McCartney.
Bradshaw, who spent last season on loan from Ryman League side Cray Wanderers, was named Dockers’ player-of-the-year for last season, last week.
Manager Steve O’Boyle, preparing for his second season in charge of Erith Town, is delighted that Bradshaw has put pen to paper to sign for the Kent League club, who return to their traditional home at the Erith Sports Stadium in the town after just one season groundsharing at Thamesmead Town’s Bayliss Avenue.
“This is a really positive move for the club because Jack was superb for us last season,” he told www.erithtown.com.
Cray Wanderers secured promotion into the Ryman Premier League for the very first time in their illustrious history, beating both Worthing and Metropolitan Police 1-0 in the play-off lottery at the end of last season, having finished as runners-up to Kingstonian in Ryman League Division One South last season.
But Bradshaw’s appearances were limited for Ian Jenkins’ side as he was the understudy to experienced goalkeeper Glen Knight.
He did, however, collect a Kent League Cup runners-up medal for Erith Town a day after the Wands’ play-off final success, although Croydon, who will be playing in the Combined Counties League next season, clinched the silverware with a 3-1 win on penalties after the game at Welling United's Park View Road ground finished level at 1-1 after extra time.
