We have not been at our best for the last few weeks, admits Deal Town boss Derek Hares
DEAL TOWN manager Derek Hares says he is expecting a difficult game at Fisher tomorrow.
Dean Harrison’s side are the surprise package in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division and sit in second-place with 28 points from their 15 games, while Deal Town sit in seventh with five fewer points.
“We know we have a difficult game at Fisher this weekend. They are playing well and it will be a test for us,” said Hares.
“We have not been at our best for the last few weeks, although the players have worked hard and we have grounded out some results, so we know we need to get back to the form we were showing a few weeks ago.
“Overall, we have to be pleased with the season to this point with only three defeats in our 14 league games although we’ve probably had too many draws.
“There is still a long way to go with a lot of games to play and like other teams we look to do our best in every game and see where it takes us.”
