Dartford sign Billy Roast and Manny Igahore
DARTFORD have completed the signings of two players whom have impressed during pre-season trials.
Billy Roast, 23, is a central defender, who spent last season at their Vanarama National League South rivals Concord Rangers and was previously with Colchester United.
Pacey winger, Manny Igahore, 23, was also at Concord Rangers last time out and before his stint in Essex, was at Wycombe Wanderers.
Joint-manager Adam Flanagan told www.dartfordfc.com: “Billy’s attitude and application to become better is only beaten by his drive for success. Whether he plays at centre back or within the midfield I know when he pulls on a Dartford shirt he will give us everything he has.
“Manny is a young talented winger who will relish being at a club like Dartford. We feel his pace and direct style of wing play will be very effective this season for us, whether starting or coming on from the bench.”
Dartford, who kick-off their new Vanarama National League South campaign with a trip to Bath City on 4 August, host Colchester United in a pre-season friendly at Princes Park tomorrow (15:00).
